교사연구자로 살아가기: 내 별빛이 지나온 자리 교직 35년차. 이번 특강을 준비하면서 지난 삶을 돌이켜보니 나는 "무엇이 되어야겠다." 라는 성과목표를 세워본 적이 없었다. 장학사가 되어야겠다, 교장이 되어야겠다, 그런 목표들말이다. 수석교사는 되어야겠다는 목표를 가지고 준비한 것이 아니라 제도가 생긴 첫해, 교사로서 가장 영예로운 직위라는 생각으로 지원했고, 합격해서 되었을 뿐이다. 단, 내가 교직에 들어선 이상, 당당한 교사로 살아야겠다는 생각, 내가 만나는 어린 생명체들에게 좋은 영향을 주는 존재가 되고 싶다는 생각은 있었다. 그리고 교실이라는 세계에서 벌어지는 현상에 대해 가장 정확한 임상적 진단을 내리고, 그에 맞는 처방을 설계하는 전문직으로서의 책임을 다하는 일이 나의 책무라 생각했다. 이 ..
