학생들이 1년간의 수업에서 무엇을 배웠고, 그들에게 남은 것이 무엇인지를 확인하는 설문을 열때는 늘 조마조마 두렵다. 내가 의도하고 준비한 것들이 정말 학생들을 위한 것이었는지에 대한 판단은 학생들만 할 수 있는 것이니까. 학생들에게 스미지 못하는데 나 혼자 이런걸 해봤노라 떠드는 것만큼 부끄러운 일은 없다. 그래서 수업은 교사의 언어가 아니라 학생의 언어로 돌아봐야하고, "샘, 사랑해요" 의 인기투표 차원이 아니라, 구체적이고 분석적이어야 한다고 생각한다. 학생들이 적은 글들을 보면서, 내가 이걸 이것 때문에 했었지 돌아보게도 되고, 이걸 할 때는 이런 점을 더 신경써야 하는구나, 이렇게 받아들이니 다음에도 이 수업을 해야겠다 등등을 결정도 해야하니 말이다. 올해는 특히나 어느 한줄도 슥 읽지 못하고 ..
